Herbed Chicken Patties

Theses chicken patties are easy to prepare and taste great! Don’t forget these chicken patties are packed with protein. Pair them with some avocado, a side of veggies or roasted sweet potatoes and you'll get all your nutrients.

Serves: 9 chicken patties

Ingredients:
  • 600g minced chicken (free-range preferably)
  • 1 cup coriander, chopped
  • 2 tsp fennel seeds
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 chillies (chopped) if you like it spicy
  • Salt and pepper
  • Fat of your choice (I used avocado oil)

Method:
  • Mix all the dry ingredients with chicken well.
  • Gently “massage” the minced chicken mixture until all ingredients are well combined.
  • Form round and flat patties with your hands (similar shape to the ones in the picture).
  • Heat up your pan with fat of your choice.
  • Pan fry chicken patties on each side for 4-5 minutes until golden brown.
  • Flatten the patties with your spatula.
